Our Educational Approach

We Support Holistic Learning

At the heart of our daily life is a commitment to nurturing children’s natural curiosity and desire to learn. Instead of giving ready-made answers, we explore and wonder together with the children. We encourage them to think independently, ask questions, and share their own ideas.

Creativity and self-expression are part of everyday life in many forms – through drawing, painting, dancing, music, and performance. Play is a central way of learning, and adults take part in it by enriching children’s thinking and supporting their discoveries.

Our Pedagogical Approach

At our daycare, children learn essential life skills such as dressing, eating, and tidying up – independently but always supported by a caring adult. Every child has the opportunity to take responsibility as a member of the group and to learn through doing things together.
Positive feedback and trust in the child’s abilities support their growth and self-esteem.

Movement is part of every day, both indoors and outdoors. The joy of physical activity is fostered through group games, music, play, and small adventures. Each child develops at their own pace, and what matters most is feeling good and experiencing success.

Language learning is integrated into daily routines through play and interaction. Children are free to use their own language and naturally learn new words and expressions in context. Adults listen to the child genuinely and act as examples of respectful communication.

We explore different cultures and celebrate a variety of traditions. At the same time, we talk about emotions, diversity, and individual rights. Our goal is to help children grow into empathetic and accepting individuals who can recognize and express their feelings.

Working together is a key part of learning. Children practice being part of a group, following rules, and considering others. Excursions and exploring the local area strengthen their sense of community and belonging.

Multiliteracy is developed through stories, art, media, and play. Children are encouraged to explore, discover, and make sense of their surroundings together with an adult. We search for information, solve problems, and learn to recognize signs and messages in the environment.

Children are actively involved in planning activities, and their voices are heard. It is important to us that every child feels like a valued member of the group. We use a variety of methods – such as storytelling and visual aids – to ensure that even the quieter children are seen and heard.

Nature and environmental care are woven into our everyday life. We play outside in all weather, explore the forest, and investigate the natural world together. We hope to nurture in every child a love for nature and a desire to care for it.
